How to Get SRS Codes - Dodge

Accessing DTCs

1986-93

  1. On Stealth models, connect DRB II to vehicle as follows:
    1. Connect 8-way DIN connector of DRB II to 8-way DIN connector of MMC adapter.
    2. Plug 12-way diagnostic connector of MMC adapter into DLC located under left side of dash next to fuse box.
    3. Attach red clip to battery positive terminal.
  2. On models except Stealth, connect DRB II connector into air bag control module ASDM located on right side of air bag control module.
  3. On all models, turn ignition switch to RUN position. Then diagnostic program version will be displayed. Do not touch keypad during DRB II power up sequence or an error will result.
  4. After a few seconds, display will change to main menu. Press down key twice to view rest of menu.
  5. On Stealth models, select (5 AIR BAG) to enter air bag menu.
  6. On models except Stealth, proceed as follows:
    1. Select (6 PASSIVE RESET) to enter passive restraint system.
    2. Select (1 AIR BAR) to enter air bag menu.
  7. On all models, when air bag menu is displayed select 2 READ CODES.
  8. If no codes are present, DRB II display will read (NO CODES DETECTED).
  9. If codes are present DRB II display will read (1 OF XX CODES,) then the first code message.
  10. To read more codes, press down key.

1994-2011

Connect a scanner to DLC connector and follow manufacturer's instructions. SRS codes can only be accessed using a scanner.
